Paul returned to Pajcic & Pajcic in 2023, fifteen years after his first stint with the firm. Paul has a wealth of experience in personal injury and product liability cases. He was with Pajcic & Pajcic from 2005-2008 but left so he could practice law with his father, former State Attorney Harry Shorstein.
Paul is not only skilled in the personal injury field, he started off his legal career in commercial loan transactions and then in the criminal law field, where he was an Assistant District Attorney in DeKalb County, Georgia. While there, Paul was head of the white-collar crime unit and prosecuted complex RICO (racketeering and corruption) cases, as well as other major felony cases.
Paul graduated magna cum laude from the University of California, Hastings College of Law. He was Associate Executive Editor of the Constitutional Law Quarterly, honored with multiple American Jurisprudence Awards, and was a member of the Order of the Coif.
Paul earned his undergraduate degree in political science from the University of Florida, where he was Phi Betta Kappa and graduated with honors.
Paul enjoys spending time hiking, rafting, and running with his wife and two daughters.
Paul is a member of the St. Johns Riverkeeper.
