Doctor Abandons Dangerous Procedure

In connection with the final settlement in a multimillion dollar recovery for the death of his wife, Lawrence Doe demanded that the defendant doctor abandon the procedure which had killed his wife - sending a surgical patient home with a morphine pump. The surgeon agreed to the condition as a part of the settlement.
