First Pajcic Scholar Graduates from FSU Law School

first pajcic scholor graduates from fsuTanisha Bowens, who was the first Pajcic Scholar to graduate from the University of North Florida, received her law degree from Florida State University in April and started a summer internship program with the Florida Immigrant Advocacy Center in Miami.

The 25-year-old says she is attracted to this area of the law because it has immediate significance in the lives of immigrants.

At FSU, Tanisha was named "Best Oralist" at the regional moot court competition. She has been the editor-inchief of the Journal of Transportational Law & Policy.

Tanisha had graduated from UNF in 1997 with a 3.54 GPA.

The Pajcic Scholar program provides financial assistance for every Paxon High School graduate from the traditional Paxon neighborhood who meets UNF's application standards and maintains a 3.0 GPA. Gary and Steve are graduates of Paxon.
