Thomas Slater

Tom Slater grew up in St. Augustine, Florida, with parents who taught at the Florida School for the Deaf and Blind. This upbringing has contributed to Tom's special sensitivity to the problems of disabled people and injured parties.

Tom graduated with a Bachelor of Science with honors from the University of Florida in Business Administration in 1983 and from the University of Florida College of Law in 1986. Tom takes pride in staying on top of developments in tort and insurance law. He has been asked to lecture at numerous legal seminars and has served on the Florida Bar's Code and Rules of Evidence Committee and Rules of Judicial Administration Committee.

After law school Tom practiced for three years with an insurance defense firm and then moved to the plaintiff's side with Margol & Pennington, one of Jacksonville's premier plaintiff's firms. After five years with that firm, Tom joined Pajcic & Pajcic in 1995, where he has successfully served as lead attorney in all types of cases, including a multi-million dollar recovery in a product liability case.
